Problem: The ice maker does not produce any ice although the water filter is working just fine.
Solution: First off, check if the freezer is cold enough. The temperature should be close to 10 degrees. If you notice nothing amiss there, check to see if there is ice or water in the ice mold. If not, pour some water in it to see if it dumps the ice once it’s frozen. In case there is ice, lift the cut off arm and let it fall. This should start it. When that happens, dump the ice; however, do not fill any water in it.
Problem: Ice cubes do not get fully ejected from the maker. This causes them to get jammed between the metal side of the tray and the ejector fingers.

Solution: Start by swapping the wires in the dual water inlet valve. It’s located on the back of the refrigerator where the water supply comes in. If you find nothing amiss there, check the water dispenser to see if the water is going into the ice maker. This gives you a clear indication of whether the ice maker valve is working and the line is clear.

Sometimes, it doesn’t seal well because of wear and tear or the presence of sediment. This causes the water to drip. By the time the water comes to the ice maker supply tube, it freezes, blocking the fill tube as a result. When that happens, remove the water line off the valve and check for drips.
Problem: Every two weeks or so, there is a puddle of water under the fridge. What could be causing it?
Solution: Start by checking if the drain pan is positioned in the right place. Check where the puddle originates. If it comes from inside the bottom of the fridge, this could mean that the drain hole is plugged up. To fix this, remove the access panel which is located at the back of the freezer side. This allows you to reach into the drain hole. Check to see if there is a crack in it.
